I had a one hour Case Review with Phil Kedge and he managed to rewire my thinking and made me realise all the mistakes that I was making. He then helped me to write my full statement to try and avoid a Fact-Finding hearing and it worked! The Judge went against the Cafcass recommendation for a Fact-Finding Hearing and instead ordered a Section 7 Report to look at restoring contact. Without Phil, I would have continued to dig myself into a hole. Phil read my first statement that was drafted by my lawyer and ripped it up and started again, I cannot thank him enough. I booked a case review and sent a large number of documents to Phil. I was peasantly surprised that he had not only read them, but had a full understanding of my case from the start of our chat. Phil explained the strengths and weaknesses of my position helped me to understand how the court thinks about being child focussed and not what I thought was being child focussed. Once explained everything he said made perfect sense, and I had allowed my emotions to get in the way of practical thinking. The best hour I could have hoped for. Thans Phil, you are a legend.
