I see a lot of great reviews for Dan. He charged me about £7000 and my ex spent £70,000 on Solicitors etc. and I won my case effectively (to clarify, nobody wins in family court). There are a lot of other reasons to hire Dan over a solicitor and they are all very good and important reasons, but the financial point I make is the most important one because its the first hurdle you need to get over. Don't panic at the £7000 fee, that was spread over the 3 years in court. Dan will do so much more than they will ever do, because they wont lift a finger without a hefty fee. Dan went way beyond what I expected him to do and he never gives you mealy mouthed nonsense like a legal eagle will. Just down to earth conversation which is what you need when you enter the domain of the courts.
So, to that end. Stop procrastinating and book an appointment with Dan right now

The case I'm going through is equally as horrific as my past solicitor, it's become a full time job, and even with a new solicitor I needed some extra support working on the case, and some mentoring and emotional support in such a difficult time.

I can’t fully put into words how grateful I am to Nigel for his support and guidance through what is an extremely challenging and emotional process. I’ll start by saying I felt heard. Before I spoke to Anna I felt completely lost and in panic as my first court appearance was just 10 days away and perpetration had not been done. After initially appointing a solicitor to act on my behalf, I found that it was going to cost me more than I could comfortably afford, so I opted for the assistance of Family Harmony, who in my opinion provide all that you need to see you through the court process and more at a fraction of the cost of a solicitor, I was reassured and felt at ease from the beginning and throughout the process, the responses I received were always prompt and extremely helpful, I was fortunate enough to have had a resolution after the initial court hearing and therefore my McKenzie Friend was not required to attend court on my behalf but I would most definitely have requested this assistance should it have proceeded to another hearing. Siobhan has been an amazing support, in preparation and running through MY bundle and giving helpful tips has been invaluable. The difference of a McKenzie friend has been different to a solicitor - which generally embarked upon creating more paid work - this wasn't the case for me by using a McKenzie friend as I can "call the shots" / control the money etc. Most court processes when self representing are exhausting - and I was exhausted. Siobhan gave me uplift. I was fed up and considered walking away from the process to see my children. Meeting Siobhan changed this. She reviewed my bundle and added suggestions, she came to court with me - what Id have to say there is I had rightly been surrounded by people who where emotionally involved and that is tiring.
