I’m a long way off my end goal, but Dave was instrumental to the decision that was made for me in court recently. By using Dave as my McKenzie Friend, this has levelled up knowledge, my patience and wisdom to understand the different processes involved, for what I have been required to go through. He’s like a personal assistant, (but feels like a friend!) always available to answer any questions and REALLY understands your case, your opinions and goals. He also sets new goals for you, which you would never have thought existed. He has vast (sometimes it feels like endless!) knowledge of the court system and, from now going through my first court hearing, I realise how important and vital it is getting your statement “right”. Nice to get those little wins. Enjoy. Absorb. But then, start to concentrate on the next stage (if applicable). If you’re a bit apprehensive of having a McKenzie Friend, don’t be. Gain the knowledge, level up, absorb yourself into all the craziness of the legal stuff, knowing you’ve got Dave to guide you on your way to victory.
